Laser Etched ID on
Glass Labware
![]() |
TWD’s Laser Etched ID’s on glass requires that the glass labware has a specific type of ink patch that changes color when exposed to a CO2 laser (usually white to dark brown or black). TWD, as a service to its customers, can apply this patch to the customer’s glass labware or the customer can send labware that is pre-patched. The patches are fused to the glassware under high heat and consequently become part of the glassware itself. This process of a ceramic fused patch and laser marking produces an essentially indestructible label that becomes part of the glassware. When using a stationary scanner, a simple adjustment on reading angles and reading distance can quickly optimize the scanner decoding speed. Contact our tech support at 1-888-323-3585. |
